  • Mr. Cyrus Fiene (piano)

    Cyrus Fiene, piano Mr. Fiene was born in Tehran, Iran and raised in Seattle, Washington. He started piano at the age of nine, and started learning many classical pieces by his choice. Since then, his inspiration for performing comes from sharing classical music with others his own age, dedicating himself to learning and performing classical music. Mr. Fiene has been teaching for over five years, with his students regularly winning awards at local, and regional piano competitions. At the age of twenty-two, he graduated from Seattle University, graduating with a double major in music (piano performance) and business management, with a minor in innovation and entrepreneurship. During his time at Seattle University, Mr. Fiene was the first pianist in over twenty years to go through the program on a music scholarship.

    His principal teachers include Professor Tina Kouratachvili, Dr. Nancy Jang, Dr. Natalya Ageyeva and Dr. Peter Mack. Mr. Fiene has won numerous solo piano competitions within the Northwest. Currently, Mr. Fiene is on the board of the Russian Chamber Music Foundation of Seattle, serving as President.
    Having taught a broad variety of students ranging from young children to elderly, Mr. Fiene believes that anyone can learn piano with the right coaching and effort. Through careful training of musicality and technique, catering to his students’ goals and needs, Mr. Fiene’s students ultimately aim to effortlessly achieve a beautiful sound. His students have regularly received awards and honors in local festivals.

    Aside from piano, he enjoys traveling, having travelled to over twenty-seven countries, skiing, and soccer.

    Along with his passion for music, Mr. Fiene also works as a Real Estate Broker at Coldwell Banker Bain – South Lake Union.
